Privacy

This is a site you read. There is very little to collect and we have tried to keep it that way.

What we do not do

There are no accounts, so we never ask for your name or email address. There is no newsletter signup, no advertising network, and no third party tracking pixels. Quiz answers are worked out in your browser and are never sent to us or stored anywhere.

What we do collect

Aggregate visit statistics, so we can see which pages are useful and which are not. That means counts of page views and rough referrer information, with no attempt to identify individual readers.

Amazon links

When you follow one of our Amazon links, Amazon knows you arrived from us, which is how the commission is credited. Once you are on Amazon their own privacy policy applies, not ours.

Images

Flower photographs are currently served from Wikimedia Commons, which means your browser requests them from Wikimedia. We are replacing these with images hosted on our own domain.
